I’m Chet Mancini, an engineer and engineering leader in New York building platforms for AI-native software.
What I work on
I’m Technical Director, Platform Engineering at Norm Ai. I lead platform engineering and the SRE and cloud infrastructure team. My work supports our engineers, the agents they build, and the banks and asset managers who use them. Before Norm Ai, my work included APIs and data platforms at Carta, streaming systems and security at Simon Data, and production machine learning at Intent Media. Those experiences inform the essays and projects collected here.

This is my personal site: a place for writing about agentic engineering, distributed systems, data, and engineering leadership, along with selected projects and notes. The writing reflects my own perspective. It is not official documentation or a statement on behalf of my employer. My CV has more detail on experience, education, and service.
